another green bean pic......isnt she just adorable!

Hailey tried green beans the other day. We think she liked them despite the funny faces she was making. She kept on eating them when I would bring the spoon to her mouth so we took that as a good thing. We can try her on fruit and veg (stage 1) now once a day. We can also give her cereal 2 times a day. We are taking it slow and if she does not want to eat it all we dont push the matter.

On 4/9 we go to the dr's for her check up. We were there for her blocked tear duct this past monday and while we were there the dr gave her the shots that day incase daddy could not be there for the check up. At the dr's this past monday she weighed 14lbs 7 oz. She is growing so fast. We realized that she does not like to be in a position where she cannot see what is going on around her. When we went to the store the other day I wore her carrier and put her in it forward facing and we had a nice quiet shopping trip (something we dont usually have..LOL). I think that is it for now, I will post more if there is anything I forgot.

Hailey really enjoys her cereal, as you can see the hand has to go in the mouth too while eating.....where else would it go, right??? lol Her and daddy are getting better with him feeding her.....last night she let him get a couple spoonfuls in.

Baby Cereal

Well, we gave Hailey baby rice cereal last night for the first time. She seemed to enjoy it a lot. She did great for mommy eating the cereal but did not want to open her mouth when daddy sat down to try to feed her. I think she just likes giving daddy a hard time about things. We video taped it so that the grandparents can see it. We plan to get her "talking" on video too. Maybe tonight when we are giving her the cereal again I will have Glenne take pics so I can email them to everyone and post a pic here. She still seems to be eating a lot more often so I am going to make sure we ask the Dr about that when we go next week for her 4 month check up.

She still is not napping during the day too well. She is slepping right now ..that is the only reason I am able to post this. LOL We think she just likes to know exactly what is going on at all times so she does not want to miss anything. Maybe we have a genius on our hands!

Hailey does love bath time. She knows that after her hair is washed and rinsed that it is time to get out. The nighttime routine we have for her is the only one she seems to follow, we try a routine during the day and she just throws that right out the window. Hailey know what she wants when she wants it...and we just go with the flow.

4 mos already!!

I can't believ that Hailey is 4mos old already. She is growing so fast. She amazes us every day. She does a lot of "talking" now and smiles and laughs more and more it seems. She is starting to teeth and gets very cranky when her gums are bothering her. Glenne said he thinks he feels like something may be coming in up in the top. She will go for her 4mos check up in the next week or so and is due for some shots that day.
