Visiting the Chuckie!

Today Glenne got done work early so we had to get some things for Max at Petco. After Petco we went to see the Chuckie...as long as Hailey behaved while at the store for Max. Hailey was a big help at the store for Max. She helped pick out the chew sticks and treats for Max and also got him a new toy. Since she was behaved and such a big help we went to see Chuckie for a little bit. I got some good shots today (and I think Glenne even got in one and was smiling..haha).

In the first 2 shots here she could see Chuckie Cheese on stage and was yelling his name, but when we took her up to the stage she did not want to go near him.
The serious look........I do not know what she was looking at..she was smiling on this ride. I just liked this one.
Ringing the bell on the climber/slide
Riding the bob the builder ride....she was calling it Bob Bob.
I did not get a clear picture of her riding the Teletubbies ride. She was naming all of them but there was too much motion going to get a clear picture.
Thanks for looking and being a part of our lives!

School times....and the nunu and cheese

Hailey is really liking school now! We have had 3 days where we have not had any crying when I dropped her off at school. Today she did not even give me a second thought. She walks in and gives the teacher her lunch box and as I am unpacking her back she is telling her teacher that I have her backpack. She is very proud of all her art work that she brings home from school. She can now recognize and point out the color red too. She has already been able to pick out circle and square before she started school. She still loves to sing and if you start singing.....you cannot stop. She just says more, more, more. She is talking so much more now too. We still dont know all that she is saying, but we try and when we figure it out she gives us a "hah" to let us know that is what she was saying.

This past saturday Glenne and Hailey went to Gymbo (gymboree) and then right after they went to Chuck E Cheese. They are in the same shopping center. Hailey has been to "cheese" a few times but not enough for the obsession she has with it! lol At the "cheese" by gymbo they have a kiddie ride of the NUNU from teletubbies. Since then she has been OBSESSED with the nunu. It is all we have heard all week. When we went to gymbo on wed she stood at the window yelling "cheese" so I had to distract her and also when we were leaving. Tonight daddy told her that they will go saturday again.

She really is getting quite the personality....and quite the mind of her own. Her personality is a lot like Glenne, but she looks like me. We are definitley dealing with her trying to see what her boundries are and what she is able to do. Discipline is always a challenge because she is learning to just not even acknowledge that you are calling her. I did time out the other day because she is trying to climb up on her changing table. She did not cry, I am not sure if she even knows what it is yet. She is definitely becoming this little person!! She is growing up way to fast for me! :-(

That is about it for now.......till next time

Hailey and Daddy Playing at Chuck E Cheese

We took Hailey to Chuck E Cheese and her and Glenne played this video game. She seemed to enjoy playing with daddy.

A few updates.....

Not much going on lately. Hailey is still doing the walking and holding onto your hand/fingers...its more like a run. We think she is going to just start running one day and skip the walking/toddling around. She seems perfectly content with just doing that right now.

Hailey is now sleeping through the night. I just was tired and frustrated one night last week(1/15)and she was just hanging out nursing and sleeping and would wake up when I would lay her down and she would wake herself up. She was waking up 2-3 nights a week too. So I let her cry it out and she went to sleep in about 10 mins...woke up once in the middle of the night and went back to sleep in about 10 mins. The next night was less then 10 mins with waking up once, the 3rd night was about 5 mins and woke up once for the same amount of time, 4th night less then 5 mins and once for the same amount of time. 5th night she did not cry at all when I put her down for the night and she slept through the night. We have had full nights sleep since! I also cut out all nursing except for the bedtime nursing. We read a book and she nurses and usually is asleep before we are done reading the book "one fish, two fish , red fish, blue fish".

She is so much fun, she is getting such a great personality too. Some pictures do not do her justice or show her personality. Her new thing is climbing in and out of her toy box. Here are a few more pics........
