Grandmom and Grandpop visit

Grandmom and Grandpop came in for a long weekend visit. They were amazed at how much Hailey has grown. Glenne and I went out just the 2 of us on 5/21 for our anniversary. We went to the movies. We did not do much, just hung out and played with the baby the weekend. Grandmom and Gran and Daddy all went to gymboree with Hailey and I on monday. We all went to the Drive in to see Shrek 3, Hailey did sleep thru most of her first drive in experience.

Hailey does have her 6 mos check up on 5/28 and will be getting her shots that day. We will be visiting Philadelphia in July for Hailey to get christened. She will be christened on 7/15.....so save the date. That is about it for now. Will write more later

Hailey had a playdate

Hailey had her first playdate. My friend Nikki from work has a little girl who is 8 mos old. We went out to eat one day and the kids played at the house afterwards. Here are a few pics from the resturant. Hailey tried cantaloupe that day too.

Mother's Day

We had a very nice Mother's day. We relaxed at home for a while then we went to Gran and Granddad's house and we ate pizza and played cards. Hailey even cooperated with a nap too!! Here are some pics of us that day!

not much happening

Not much going on here. Hailey is still trying to sit up on her own, she rolls a lot now. She is seeming like she has a tooth trying to come up so I will have to keep you updated on that front. Hailey likes to have daddy sing and dance for her when she is eating at night, if its just mommy she eats just fine. I think she just likes to see how far daddy will go to make her smile and laugh. She loves music too. We have a mesh feeder that we put a banana in and let her eat...she liked that a lot.

She has tried carrots, green beans, peas, squash, sweet potatoes, pears, bananas, apple sauce and peaches. She did not see to like the peaches too much, seemed to be too tart for her. The carrots she did not seem to like too much either. The rest she really enjoyed.

She rolled!!

Hailey rolled over all by herself today. She was acting like she was going to and this afternoon she just did it. She is still working on getting her arm out from under her after she rolls though. I cant believe that she rolled. She really really wants to sit up on her own, but that has not happened yet.

She is eating well. She did not like carrots too much and made some faces with apple sauce. She really enjoyed the pears, bananas, and green beans. The sweet potatoes she was leaning forward for the food to get into her mouth. LOL

We took Hailey to get some professional pics done, she did very well...even with being tired and needing a nap.

4 month check up

Hailey had her 4 month check up today.

She weighs 15lbs (75th percentile for her weight) and she is 24inches long (25th percentile for her height). Glenne was asked about the height being a low percentage and the dr said there is nothing wrong with that. I said to him, its not like her parents are tall!! hehehe As far as growth and things she is doing the dr said that she is right on target for her age. We were told to keep on doing what we are doing.

The cold she had last week has cleared up and she is back to her normal happy self...and still not wanting to nap. LOL

Easter was good. We went to Gran and Granddad's, and Aunt Deb and Uncle Aaron got to see Hailey...first in a while that they have seen her. The Easter bunny brought Hailey (at Gran and Grandad's house) some summer clothes, hair bands (for the people that ask if she is a boy cause she is bald), and some yummy fruit and veggies that she has started to eat. At home the Easter bunny brought Hailey a fun new toy for her carseat and a stuffed bunny.

Hailey is starting to get more vocal and is grabbing anything she can get her hands on. Her all time favorite past time right now is eating her fingers and seeing how far she can put them in her mouth. When she puts them in too far she gags and throws up....GOOD TIMES!!

I think that is it for now, Hailey is actually napping right now so I am going to catch up on some emails.

Happy Easter Everyone! Hailey went to see the Easter Bunny and she did not want to smile, but was very comfy on his lap.
