Swimming in her pool...and other stuff

We got Hailey a little pool and she seemed to enjoy herself. She was trying to drink the water too. We had to put it on the patio since we were having another afternoon quick rainstorm after we filled up the pool in the grass.

On another note.....We have been having issues with Hailey not wanting to eat her baby food. We decided to try to give her some "big people" food. I did some peas and carrots and just cut them in in small peices for her. She ate them and did not give me the hard time she normally does. For dinner we made her some sweet potatoes and squash and she did great again! I think (and hope and pray) we have her eating again. She had mommy worrying and gettin very frustrated with the whole situation.
That is about it for now. Till next time.......

Trying to crawl

Hailey is trying to crawl more and more. She does not have down yet the whole "hold the head up and move the legs and hands at the same time". Her Daddy is determined to get her going soon. I keep telling him not to rush it cause then we have to babyproof everything.

She is getting more confident sitting up on her own too. She is just growing so much. I am hoping that she will not be shy when we are up for her baptisim in July with everyone. She has been very clingy lately and not sleeping too well, we are hoping that its a phase or teething.

that is all for now.

6mos check up

Hailey had her 6 mos check up today. She is doing great. She weighs 17.5 lbs and 27inches long and she is in the 75th percentile for her growth. The dr said that she is right on track for the growth charts and that she is doing well developmentally. She screamed the whole time she was getting her shots.

The dr suggested us trying the "crying it out" method for her when she wakes up in the middle of the night. We got home from the dr's and she ate then I put her down in her crib and tried it and in about 5 mins she was alseep. Lets hope she is ok doing that in the middle of the night when she wakes up. *keeping fingers crossed*

We can start her on stage 2 foods..fruits and veggies and in a month or so we can start the stage 2 foods with meats in it. Glenne wants to try avacodo too.

We hit a milestone yesterday when Hailey sat up for about 10-15 seconds all by herself!!! She did it a few times then got tired. She rolls to where she wants to get to but does not seem to want to try to crawl. She likes for you to hold her so she can stand up and jump too.

On memorial day we just hung out here at home cause it was rainy and storming out.

Grandmom and Grandpop visit

Grandmom and Grandpop came in for a long weekend visit. They were amazed at how much Hailey has grown. Glenne and I went out just the 2 of us on 5/21 for our anniversary. We went to the movies. We did not do much, just hung out and played with the baby the weekend. Grandmom and Gran and Daddy all went to gymboree with Hailey and I on monday. We all went to the Drive in to see Shrek 3, Hailey did sleep thru most of her first drive in experience.

Hailey does have her 6 mos check up on 5/28 and will be getting her shots that day. We will be visiting Philadelphia in July for Hailey to get christened. She will be christened on 7/15.....so save the date. That is about it for now. Will write more later

Hailey had a playdate

Hailey had her first playdate. My friend Nikki from work has a little girl who is 8 mos old. We went out to eat one day and the kids played at the house afterwards. Here are a few pics from the resturant. Hailey tried cantaloupe that day too.

Mother's Day

We had a very nice Mother's day. We relaxed at home for a while then we went to Gran and Granddad's house and we ate pizza and played cards. Hailey even cooperated with a nap too!! Here are some pics of us that day!
