HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our family and friends. Hailey unfortunately the day before got sick...she woke up fine and suddenly got a fever.........the fever is being subsided with motrin so tomorrow (today actually now that it is after midnight) we are going to take her to the dr's and get checked out. She is still in good spirits...but definitely is not herself.

We went to Meme and Grandad's house and Uncle Aaron came over too. I made Jello poke cake and Hot Pizza dip..Meme took care of the rest. THANK YOU MEME!! YOU ROCK!

I did not take any pics today. She did wear the dress that Grandmom got her with black tights and her new boots that she picked out HERSELF for her birthday. Last night she slept in our bed because we felt better with her in our bed not knowing what the fever was going to do. Very early ..close to 5amish Hailey cried to go to her bed to sleep cause of Daddy's snoring. Normally she would not cry so we knew she was sick (welll...knew before this too...). I took her to her bed and sang a song and she went to sleep till almost 10AM!!!! wow...I think Glenne and I were up before her actually.

I hope everyone had a happy turkey day. I will post how the dr's visit went.

Hailey's 1st American Girl doll....a Bitty Baby

Hailey got her first American Girl baby doll for her birthday from Grandmom and Grandpop. It is a Bitty Baby doll. She LOVES it. She slept with the baby the first night(we also did not have lovey lamb so we did not mention that and just mentioned the new baby). Tonight she slept with lamb and the baby. The baby has had a few names...I am not real sure if she has a permanent name or not. Here are a few pics of Hailey and the baby. We were watching Merry Madagascar at the same time so she was totally ignoring the camera.....and purposely holding the baby upside down at one point.

Hailey's 3rd Birthday..Pirate Party

This past saturday we had Hailey's birthday party. It was a Pirate party. It was a lot of fun (I was busy with doing the games and face/tattoo painting)..but everyone that was there that I have spoken or seen has said what a great party it was. Hailey's friend from school's sister who is a 2nd grader even said it was better then parties she went to of her friends!

I had a little speech made up about me being a captain and went over the pirate code. We made certificates (that I forgot to give out!!!gggrrr..but will put in thank you's) for them being official pirates too. We played walk the plank and Pin the Parrot on the Pirate. I think if I let it go the walk the plank game would have gone on and on and on and on.....the kids all loved that one. The pictures taken were a lot of action so a lot came out blurry....here are the good one.......there are a lot....

Hailey's friend Bella from school. They were in the same class last year and this year they are not going on the same days....we are going to be sending Hailey 5 days soon so Bella and Hailey will be very happy to be together again. Bella's mom said for weeks she had to hear about no Hailey at school.

Officially Potty Trained!!!

This past tuesday I decided to send Hailey to Meme's house in big girl underwear. She is dry all in her pull up and just goes poopey in the pull up. We have been putting her in big girl underwear when we are just hanging around the house and she is dry, so I figured lets take the leap.

She was dry all day with Meme and the next day at school she was dry all day too....Wed night she even stopped herself from going poopey in her underwear and ran to the potty to go poopey. We are so proud of her! She has really taken to this big girl step and is so proud of herself.

This weekend is her Pirate birthday party. Grandmom and Poppop came to visit for the party. She is very excited about her birthday party and is even more excited to have Grandmom and Poppop visitng from Philadelphia.

I will make sure that I post pics of the party as soon as I can.

The BIGGEST little Eagles FAN will be going to her first Eagles vs Dallas game on 1/3/10!!

She is really into play doh, dress up, games, coloring......and of course...could use jammies right now is in size 3t but by early next year will be 4t.

Little Miss Muffet

In school each month they have songs and rhymes,etc that they do that month. This month one of them is Little Miss Muffett. She does know the whole thing but sometimes gets skipped up like in this video. She will just start saying it. I will try to get it in full another time.

Friday night I was in the kitchen cleaning up and Hailey was playing and watching tv. I heard her say she had to do something to her couch. I did not see or pay too much attention so a few mins later I look up into the living room and she has her princess couch upside down and is laying on it like this.

Halloween 2009

Hailey really enjoyed Halloween this year. Meme and Granddad took her to the Children's museum for a party there on 10/26 then on thurs 10/29 she went "trick or treating" at kroger with Meme. On Friday 10/30 they celebrated with a Halloween party at school and all the kids dressed up.

On Halloween we went to see Meme and Granddad and a few of the neighbors. Kandi, Chris, and Kenzie meet us there then we went back ot our neighborhood and walked around there. The girls had a lot of fun and were giggling the whole time. It was a bit chilly but they did not seem to be phased by it at all. We have a HUGE bowl of candy from the week of festivites she was taken too. I will have to find a way to get it out of the house...it is not staying. (considering I just threw out the leftover from last year!!! )
