Hailey with Santa at Moody Gardens Festival of Lights. She really liked him.

Hailey's christmas program pictures

Here are some still pics from the christmas program. This is the 2 classes of preschool 3's performing. That is a lot of 3/4 yr olds!!

Ok, background on the next few pics. At the end after the pre k kids did their songs all the kids sang we wish you a merry christmas. (I did not realize that it was not on video..sorry :( ) Well, Hailey stood where she thought she was in front, then more kids came and stood in front of her. The next few shots show her making her way/pushing/elbowing her way to the front of the crowd of kids. At least it was her friend Skyler and she did not seem to get real upset with Hailey.
making her way a little more to the front
She is up there....everyone is still smiling!
in between her 2 of her favorite friends. Skyler on the left and Brooklyn on the right
After the show Sant was waiting in the open area outside the auditorium and I think she was the first one out. We missed seeing her on his lap, Miss Amber said that she got a good picture of her on his lap though. She was enjoying her cookies and juice after the show here.

Here is the list of songs that they performed.

Videos from Hailey's Christmas Program

Hailey and the rest of the preschool 3's classes singing Christmas Day. Sorry the sound is not too great. (words below)

Christmas day will soon be here and I can hardly wait! Christmas day will soon be here and I can hardly wait! Santa will be coming , soon he will be coming, Christmas day will soon be here and I can hardly wait!

Here they are singing "ring ring ring the bells" (words below)

Ring, ring, ring the bells, Ring them lound and clear, To tell the children everywhere that Christmas time is here.

Here they are singing Jingle Bells....I think everyone knows the words to that one!

Here is the class doing rudolph the red nosed reindeer with their masks that they made.

Sorry that this one is sideways...its the 2nd half of rudolph that got cut off.

I did not get this one on video. Its hard to hear but the hand motions are adorable (below is what she is saying)

When Santa comes down the chimney(sweeps her hands) I should like to peek(hands over eyebrows). But he'll never come, No never, (shaking finger back and forth) Until I'm fast asleep.(puts head on hands and closes her eyes).

Festival of Lights at Moody Gardens

This past saturday we went to Moody Gardens Festival of Lights. Its all about the holidays and lots and lots and lots of lights. They had Santa pictures too. It was a really nice time. We dressed Hailey in her Holiday outfit. A cold front had come in so it was rather cold for us. I got out mine and Hailey's winter coats, made sure Hailey had a had and mittens, and I had gloves. Glenne for some reason did think the weather reports were right and wore shorts, sandals and a windbreaker jacket. He regreted that decision.

Hailey with Santa. We had 2 other options, but the big hug was the best of the bunch.
Our Christmas card picture...for some reason it seems blurry int he print outs. sorry :(
In front of the tree of Pointsettia's
The Nutcracker area....Hailey was really excited since the 2 of us are going on 12/11 to see the Houston Ballet Nutcracker.
Hailey doing BALLET by the ballerina
Hailey and Daddy by the Ballerina
Hailey and the Nutcracker Character
Nutcracker
The Nativity Scene...they did the whole story in lights every five minutes

Lights by the ice rink.....Hailey was so excited to see the ice skaters and wanted to skate. I have only done it once for 2 min....and Daddy was just not ready to get out on the ice with himself and his child...not enough confidence. I am just scared to get out there.

Humming Bird......Hailey's favorite
Fisherman....the fish was not lighting up though :(
Archangels with trumpets
Pirate...you know Hailey loved this one
Pirate Ship...If I zoomed out any more you would not have seen Hailey! :)

Polar Express
Toyland
Cinderella and her carriage at the CastleThe Prince trying on the Glass slipper

Santa and his reindeer...including Rudolph and his shiny red nose!
Texas boot with the Yellow Roses of Texas....could not get a good pic of this or else it would have been our Christmas Card.
Hailey and the "Seal" as she called it. Not sure if tha was what it was...but she had to take her pic with it.

Wow....some really great lights. In person it is pretty awesome!! Hailey at one point just kept yelling LOOK....LOOK....LOOK....LOOOK...LOOK..LOOK!! You get the picture ... lol

Enjoy....we did.

Just some soccer fun

This past saturday the kids seemed pretty happy to have Coach Shawn back, since he missed last saturday. Coach Shawn seemed to be really enjoying it..but he always seems to.

At one point all the kids just jumped on the Coach....he is under there somewhere

Hailey and Kailey ......yes...almost the same name...both the slowest runners and seem to gravitate to each other...and birthdays are a less then 2 wks apart.
This was one team....Hailey is # 10 against the others

Halloween Night

So Hailey was Ariel the Little Mermaid Princess for Halloween (red wig and all!). Ariel is currently her favorite Princess. It was a warm Halloween here in Spring. Even after the sun went down we still did not need a jacket. We went to visit Meme and Grandad first then came back to our house and met up with Kandi, Chris, and Kenzie. Jill and her furbaby Jackson also came along to walk around with us.

Here is our Princess Ariel all ready to go trick or treating.

It was an after thought to get a picture of Hailey and Kenzie together and the sun had already gone down.
Jill's furbaby Jackson the crawfish/lobster

On the friday before Halloween Hailey's old teacher Miss Amy had a little party at her house. I got done work early and picked up Hailey from school and we headed over there. Miss Amy is watching 2 of Hailey's old classmates and Hailey was happy to see them. ( Miss Amy was watching Hailey after school while Meme and Grandad were away so Hailey was so so excited for this little party) It was a fun afternoon. The kids were so excited about dressing up.
Skyler was a Power ranger and way too cool to stop and look for a picture.
Bella on the other hand asked me to take her picture...Hailey joined in...a big first!! (love Hailey's face)
such beautiful girls

Hailey had 2 Halloween parades and parties at school since not everyone is 5 days a weekers. (some go m/w/f and others t/th) All the kids were so excited about Halloween at school. It was really cute to see them all dressed up and so excited. Hailey dressed as Cinderella on Thursday and as a Witch on Friday.

Hailey and her buddy Trent. They have been in the same class since she started at Cypress Creek 2 yrs ago. This is their 3rd year in class together. They sometimes have a love/hate relationship! LOL
