Hurricane Ike

We survived Hurricane Ike a lot better then other in the Houston and surrounding area. We had Kandi, Chris, Kenzie and Kandi's mom stay over fri night. We got rain and it was very windy. We lost power for 24hours and others lost it for a lot longer, we were very lucky there. The day we were without power it was so hot and once the Hurricane passed thru there was no wind. Hailey handled it all pretty well. I am posting some pictures of the hurricane coming in and of the girls playing.


Here is Ike coming in, the sky was really dark and eerie looking.


We had to put the gate up , the girls were in the kitchen and that is a NO NO in our house.
