On Sunday 1/2/2010 we drove up to Dallas for the last game of the season Eagles vs Dallas. Little did we know that it was going to be THE biggest game of the season deciding who would win the NFC EAST!!! We drove up sat night and stayed in a hotel. The game was originally scheduled for noon but was changed the week before by the nfl. Hailey loved staying in the hotel overnight but the noises of the hotel made it hard for her (and me) to go to sleep right away. The next morning we got up and got our free breakfast the hotel served and then hung out for a bit. We tried getting Hailey to nap in the parking lot before the game but there was too much going on that she could not go to sleep. The game was a blowout. We were hoping for some sort of match up between the 2 teams but the Eagles did not seem to be playing and the Cowboys were. The Cowboys fans of course had all kinds of comments to us....some were friendly some were nasty. Quite a few said we were child abusers raising her to be an Eagles fan...one of those fans had a Yankess shirt on...I said, You are saying that to me when you are wearing a YANKEES shirt!! lol Some attempted to say something but when they saw how cute Hailey was they said, I can't say anything mean to something that adorable. There are some nice Cowboys fans out there.

We left after the 3rd quarter cause it was not worth staying for the loss till the end since the Eagles were not playing the game. A fight broke out in the section next to us also. The fans were getting really rowdy and did not want to deal with that scene leaving the stadium with Hailey. She really enjoyed her first football game and did not realize that the team she was cheering for lost so bad. The fans started chanting "Eagles Suck" when the 3rd quarter started....they couldnt even come up with anything more clever then that.
FLY EAGLES FLY.....LETS SHOW THEM HOW WE REALLY DO IT IN THE WILD CARD AND STOMP ALL OVER THEM NEXT WEEK!!!

Glenna...she was so into it...she would yell dallas..then GO EAGLES. She had everyone around us wrapped around her little fingers. shame the eagles lost. :(
