Visit to the Zoo

I took a tuesday off of work and we went to the zoo. We have not been since April. It was a very hot day ( I know, very surprising for us in south Texas in the summer). We took the wagon but Hailey of course had to walk through a lot of the zoo. We took some pics, here they are.

There are a few pictures of the piranah..we were waiting for the feeding to start. They had a tunnel that you could crawl through in the middle of the aquarium. Hailey was not into going through the tunnel. *this is just some other kid that was going through*
Hailey with me behind her and Glenne at the other end trying to get her to go through.

The farthest she got into the tunnel.

Standing outside ....................

This monkey followed us from one end of his habitat to the other.....he was a funny little guy!

Looking cool.......Model pose here!

Checking out the sea lions on our way out of the zoo

As we were leaving the zoo she saw the lady had a stamper ....so she was nice enough to give Hailey a stamp of a flamingo on her hand as we were leaving.

The big "cheese" smile...she was pretty exhausted at this point but still REFUSES to fall asleep in the car.

We saw the giraffe's and elephants. She loved the zoo and we did not even see all the animals when we went. We will be going again......not sure if it will be while its so hot though. We got there a little after 10am and left about 1pm and were dripping in sweet with 100 deg temps. It was a lot of fun!!!
